Will I get High

The active component in marijuana that gets people high is called THC, and there’s none of that in our CBD products. CBD has calming effects and is not at all psychoactive.
The World Anti-Doping Agency has even removed CBD from it’s banned substances list as it has been proven not to activate the receptors in the brain that THC does.

How does it work?

While CBD has no intoxicating effects, many studies have shown that it does have ant-anxiety, anti-psychotic, and even anti-inflammatory properties. Cannabidiol has been shown to behave as a partial booster to serotonin receptors. Serotonin is often referred to as the happy chemical in out bodies as it adds to our happiness and well-being.

Again, don’t just take our word for it, let the pros give you the science behind it:

What is CBD

CBD, cannabidiol, is a chemical compound found in marijuana or hemp plants. CBD is basically the part of the hemp plant that gives marijuana users that calm feeling they’ll tell you all about if you let them. Extracting this compound for use makes it so that CBD users can get that chill, without getting the high of marijuana use.

But don’t just take our word for it, check out the science of it all in this Report on Cannabidiol by the World Health Organisation.

Does it even work?

While the world catches up to marijuana plants being useful and more governments allow the use and study of the humble hemp plant, more and more studies are being done to investigate the properties and consistency of CBD.
